Our Journey
Heath Motor Group started with a simple conviction: drivers deserve honest diagnostics and repairs that hold up. Over the years, we invested in better equipment, trained our technicians on evolving vehicle electronics, and built a reputation for clear estimates and finished-on-time work.
2012 — The First Bay
The founder, a former dealership technician, opened with a focus on brake work and routine servicing. Word spread because every estimate was itemised and every job came with a written explanation of what was found and what was replaced.
2016 — Going Computerised
As vehicles became more electronic, we upgraded to a system that reads live sensor data across multiple brands. This let us trace intermittent faults that older code readers missed, cutting down on guesswork and repeat visits.
2019 — Fleet Contracts
A delivery company asked us to handle its vans. We built a simple maintenance calendar, tracked each vehicle's service history, and flagged worn parts before they caused breakdowns. That model now covers several commercial fleets.
2022 — Pre-Purchase Inspections
Too many customers had bought cars with hidden issues, so we formalised a 150-point inspection. Buyers now bring vehicles from private sellers and dealerships alike, and they leave with a condition report they can act on.
Workshop Today
Six bays, four technicians, and a parts room stocked with filters, pads, and belts for common daily drivers. We still write every estimate before touching a car.
What Stays the Same
Manufacturer service schedules guide our work. If a part can be serviced rather than replaced, we say so. If a repair is urgent, we explain why and let the customer decide.
Looking Ahead
We are expanding our air-conditioning service bay and adding hybrid battery testing. The goal stays the same: keep daily-driver vehicles on the road longer.
The People Behind the Wrenches
Every member of our workshop team is certified, factory-trained, and committed to honest diagnostics. We don't upsell parts you don't need — we fix what's broken and explain what we found.
Master Technician & Workshop Foreman
18 years in the trade, specialising in engine diagnostics and electrical fault-finding. Dennis leads our advanced scanning work and trains junior staff on manufacturer-specific procedures.
Brake & Suspension Specialist
Priya handles full brake overhauls, suspension geometry, and steering component replacements. She insists on torque-to-yield fasteners and always road-tests after reassembly.
Fleet Service Coordinator
Thabo manages scheduled maintenance for commercial fleets, tracks service histories, and coordinates vehicle health checks so your drivers stay on the road without surprise breakdowns.
We don't hire parts-swappers. Every technician here can read wiring diagrams, interpret live sensor data, and justify each recommendation with evidence. Before any work begins, you get a written estimate and a plain-language explanation of what needs attention and what can wait.

Workshop standards
Heath Motor Group exists to give daily-driver vehicles a longer, more predictable life. We combine computerised diagnostics with hands-on mechanical skill, and we explain what we find before we touch a single bolt. Every job follows a clear sequence: inspect, report, agree on the scope, then work to the manufacturer's schedule.
Our principles are straightforward — honest estimates, quality parts, and a workshop that treats your car as if it were our own. Whether it's a routine service or a complex brake overhaul, you get the same level of attention and a clear record of what was done and why.
You approve the quote before any work begins. No surprise add-ons.
We follow the intervals and specifications set by the vehicle maker.
We read live data and pinpoint faults instead of replacing parts blindly.
Consistent maintenance records and coordinated bookings for your vehicles.
Trusted by local operators
Fleet managers, dealerships, and independent garages rely on our diagnostic reports and service records to keep their vehicles moving.
"Heath Motor Group handles the pre-sale inspections for every trade-in we take. Their reports are clear enough to share straight with the buyer."

"Our delivery vans run a tight schedule. The team fits servicing around our downtime and flags issues before they become breakdowns."
M. Botha — CityLink Couriers
"We send customers their way for clutch and brake work we don't have capacity for. The standard never drops."
